A4 cm Grid Template Measure Sool | Measuring and lettering ruler | Printing exact size Procreate | Tattoo stencil
MEASURE IN PROCREATE!
Print out the exact size drawing straight from Procreate!
When I worked as a tattoo artist I needed to be in full control of the size of a stencil. So I created a precise centimetre grid template for the most common printing size – A4 (210mm x 297mm) paper in iOS app Procreate.
After purchasing you will be able to download a zip file with 3 PNG grids (transparent backgrounds):
* 1 even, simple grid with 1cm lines,
* 1 with highlighted 3cm lines,
* 1 dotted 1cm grid.
How to measure?
Each square is 1×1 cm. For example, if you need a 10,5 cm wide picture to be printed on paper, you count 10 and a half squares in Procreate!
How to upload?
Option 1 – Download these 3 PNG’s. Open Procreate and select Import and choose one of the grids. Right after you import a file, a transformation tool will automatically open. DO NOT use the transformation tool. DO NOT alter the size of the grid. Exit the tool right away by clicking on it.
Option 2 – Create a blank A4 canvas (it has to be 210mm x 297mm). When you’re inside the canvas, click Wrench – Add – Insert a file. Choose one of the grids and click on it. Right after you import a file, a transformation tool will automatically open. DO NOT use the transformation tool. DO NOT alter the size of the grid. Exit the tool right away by clicking on it.
How to PRINT OUT?
Go to Wrench – Share – PDF – quality BEST – Print
Please note that saving in different formats or using different apps for printing might completely ruin the measurements.
This grid works for most standard home/office printers, but only for CM and A4 size.
Be aware of your printer’s settings and ability to print out good quality.
This is a digital product! No physical product will be shipped out to you!
